Derek is a native of the Cleveland area and a graduate from Ohio State University. He has been in the home inspection business for over 2 years and has been involved in various construction businesses since his college. Prior to being a home inspector, he was working with a roofing company, inspecting residential and commercial roofs, writing up estimates and coordinating jobs with clients and work crews for over 5 years. Along the way he also owned and operated residential properties for over 10 years and has a lot of personal experience that included repairing items from roofing to foundation in older homes. His history also includes working at a mortgage company and in the concrete construction business.
